18" Tuneable Pro Bodhran, beveled frame, double thick goatskin head and a black painted finsih.
Dating back to pre-Christian pagan rituals throughout Ireland, the Bodhran is a single-headed frame drum, long-associated with such festivals as wren hunting on Saint Stephen’s Day, and the celebration of Saint Bridget held on February 1st. Having grown in popularity, it is now considered an integral part of traditional Irish music.
